We’ve got a bunch of hungry Web Monkeys here at Logic Web Media, so bananas aren’t usually our top choice for lunch. It’s rare that we don’t order out from one of the many places in our area. In fact, some of their employees recognize us by name and phone number when we call with our order. What can I say? We are loyal diners. In the interest of giving credit where it is deliciously due, the staff and I decided to share our top 8 favorite lunchtime spots. 8 may seem like a lot, but trust me, we narrowed it down by a considerable margin.
We are listing these awesome places in order of distance from our office; so we are not technically playing favorites. However, we have included a banana rating system to show how much we like them!
= Pretty tasty.
= Does this taste funny to you?
= Can I speak to a manager?

If you’re feelin’ fusion, Ting is the way to go. The menu features a great amount of food for their lunch specials, so that’s certainly a value. The thing about Ting is not only their great traditional Japanese cuisine, but their in-house creations as well. Specialty sushi rolls like the Godzilla, the pineapple fried rice, and the Tuna Pizza are only a few of the unique options you’ll find on the menu. Ting provides beautiful dining atmosphere and a fantastic meal at reasonable prices.

Batata is by far one of our most frequented lunch spots. The menu features a little something for everyone, from breakfast and lunch specials, to innovative wraps and soups. The daily specials are always tempting for the palate and the pocketbook, and feature new creations by the chef that aren’t found on the main menu. All of Batata’s bread and pastry selections are baked freshly in house, including their fresh fried potato chips which compliment any wrap or sandwich. The beverage selection is nothing to sneeze at either, as they offer freshly brewed teas, coffee specialties, fresh juices and smoothies.
